Before you burn down your offer suite and rebuild it (READ THIS)

I burnt down my entire offer suite in November 2023 and I've been rebuilding it for the past 6 months. Failed a few times. And, still, I'm working on it.

When you're burning down your offers and starting again from scratch, it's not a joke. You'll be confused to the core. You'll eventually compare yourself with others in the industry (even in other niches). You'll have multiple ideas popping up but don't know which one you should act upon. You're so in the edge to copy other's offers because it's working out for them.

The mental impact is REAL. If no one told you this, let me share an interesting perspective.

Firstly, let me share

Why did I burn out when I was getting clients for those offers?

  1. The offers didn't align with the vision I've for my business and my lifestyle anymore. I don't have the time to work 10-15 hours like I used to on my business every day. I've limited time and I wanted to spread it out with business, family time, and ME time.

  2. My offers were catering to OSPs, Agencies, and Coaches. But, I've now niched down to Coaches. So, I wanted my offers should cater to Coaches providing them with quality and premium client experience.

  3. Also, all my offers focused on "Systems" which is not a bad thing. But, I was already helping my clients in other areas like offers, launches, business strategy, and operations. So, I want to include those expertise into my offer suite.

Burning down your entire offer suite is such a bold decision. It also means that you're constantly reevaluating your business and want to improve your services for yourself and your clients. It will eventually serve you since you're true to who you are.

Also, you don't need to have a concrete roadmap on how you're going to build your offer suite. When I decided to burn down my offers, I didn't have any idea, what I was going to do next. I already had 2 clients on one of those offers.

I would wake up middle of the night thinking about my offers. Suddenly, I got so many ideas but I was overwhelmed with which one to prioritize. I was so anxious at times that I felt I took the wrong decision. I would see someone in some other niche so sorted out with what they were doing. I felt insecure about my business. I was doubting my abilities as an OBM.

So many endless thoughts. I shut all these off by taking some messy action.

I did 2 launches that failed miserably which was an attempt with my new offers.

It took me so my reiterations and countless reevaluations to get back to the clarity I've right now.

If there's one thing I want you to take away, it's to reevaluate your business. No matter how far you've come in business, how better you're doing - ask yourself "Does this business align with your vision and your lifestyle?"

If it doesn't, I'll bluntly tell you "It's going to crash one day" (Vanessa Lau was such an example that shook me)

Keep watching this space to know what to do next when you've burnt down your offer suite. (I'm going to get even more REAL in the part 2 of this post)
